About rob glover
From the age of 7, Rob has been dancing various styles from line to
hip-hop, ballroom/Latin to Ballet. His vast vocabulary in dance has lead
him on a vast and exciting journey...
Initially trained at the "Chilterns Stage School" with instruction
from Collette Fenlon-Byatt, Rob worked hard every evening after school
and every weekend throughout his secondary education. From the ages of 7
through to 18, Rob became a multiple British, European and World
Champion with Mil and UCWDC.
Robs higher education took him to "Merseyside Dance and Drama
Centre" where he studied Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Latin, Ballroom,
National, Disco, Double Work (Pas de Deux) and contemporary. He also
passed his LAMDA's and Guildhall acting exams. Outside of College, Rob
learnt Street, Poppin', Lockin', Tickin', and basic break dance. This
training along with his linedance titles gave him the skills to become a
dance judge in forms from Line to Street.
...since studying
From thousands auditioned, Rob became on of the 12 dancers selected to
appear as a contestant in BBC's hit prime time TV show, Strictly Dance
Fever where dancers competed against one another on a weekly basis and
were critiqued by a panel of expert judges then faced an audience
'phone-in' vote. Following this, Rob joined the Simply Ballroom World
Tour, performing in South Africa, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and London's West
End.
Rob's other credits include Dick Whittington (Dir. Jim Davidson),
